Wilson DXi Hybrid Golf Club Review, Features and Benefits Video

Great to be out of the office and testing
clubs for Golfbidder. This is the Wilson Dxi hybrid. Now this club was produced with input
from 3 time Major Champion and Wilson Staffer Padraig Harrington. First thing I noticed
about this club is that it has a very nice accommodating large face. It also has wilson’s
3-point face technology – meaning if you don’t quite hit it in the center of the face you’re
going to get good forgiveness out of heel and toe hits. Looking down at the crown of
the club here you can see that there’s no alignment aid. Some players like that, some
players don’t. But what’s particularly striking about this hybrid is that it has a large flat
sole. It sits great on the fairway and it’s also really nice out of the rough. It does
what a lot of these clubs have failed to do over the last few years is that it’s a real
rescue club. It sticks to the name. The other nice thing about the Dxi is that is comes
with an Aldila Voodoo shaft as standard. It’s good when a manufacturer puts a good quality
shaft into their hybrid because really the haft is the engine of the club. You can see
the weighting of the club visually here on the outside and on the inside is low and back
in the club. Making it very easy to launch. I’m hitting the 19 degree version here. I
found it has a mid to high trajectory with a couple of yards of roll out as standard.
So if you’re looking for a quality club and you’re a Wilson fan then certainly the Dxi
is one to look at. Check out all our range on Golfbidder.
