The Very Hungry Caterpillar – Animated Film

The Very Hungry Caterpillar In the light of the moon a little egg lay on a leaf One Sunday morning the warm sun came up and… Pop! Out of the egg came a tiny and very hungry caterpillar. He started to look for some food. On Monday he ate through one apple. But he was still hungry. On Tuesday he ate through two pears. But he was still hungry. On Wednesday he ate through three plums. But he was still hungry. On Thursday he ate through four strawberries. But he was still hungry. On Friday he ate through five oranges. But he was still hungry. On Saturday he ate through… one piece of chocolate cake… one ice-cream cone… one pickle… one slice of Swiss cheese… one slice of salami… one lollipop… one piece of cherry pie… one sausage… one cupcake… and one slice of watermelon. That night he had a stomach-ache! The next day was Sunday again. The caterpillar ate through one nice green leaf and after that he felt much better. Now he wasn’t hungry any more and he wasn’t a little caterpillar any more. He was a BIG, fat caterpillar. He built a small house, called a cocoon, around himself. He stayed inside for more than two weeks. Then he nibbled a hole in the cocoon pushed his way out and… he was a beautiful butterfly!

  1. I used to watch this when I was little and I'm glad to find and watch this animated film again!!! This brings so much childhood memories… 😀

  2. I love this story. It's beautiful. I read it to my children. It stretches the imagination. We live near a butterfly garden.

  3. Children obey your parents in that which is good. Be generous, be modest in your dressing and be moderate in your actions. Let your heart be filled with compassion and kindness and humility and gentleness and patience towards all people including your parents. Repent of any lying or stealing or hating or hitting, ects. Live a good life and be a good person. We are all born good so be good.

  4. There are several components to how to get babies to sleep. One plan I discovered that succeeds in merging these is the Calmer Fixer Blueprint (google it if you're interested) without a doubt the best blueprint i've seen. Check out all the incredible information .

  5. My god, I would get the book version at my elementary school back in 2010 during first grade, it would be the only book I would check out ever and nothing else.

  7. this feels like those vhs tapes the substitute teacher would play on those square chunky televisions on those rolling things when the music teacher wasnt here

  8. I remember bringing the VHS of this into class one day because the teacher asked us all to bring in a video to watch at the end of the day, there was about 15 other kids that also brought a VHS in and Mine was the one that was chosen… I still remember the teacher saying my name and asking me to hand over my VHS, Then my young self walking up the class to hand it to her like i was an absolute boss! I was so proud of myself that day for some reason….

I also remember how i learnt to spell FRIEND
    F at
    R at
    I s
    E sting
    N o
    D inner
and this stupid little memory pops into my head everytime I need to spell it!!!

anyway, I hope everyone who reads this is well,
sorry for any spelling mistakes or if I'm not making sense, I've just finished doing a 12 hour shift and in 40 minutes I need to be at an acting class lol… Also I'm an idiot so ME NO SPEL GUD!!

Love you all, please Stay safe and enjoy the rest of your day.
I also hope this video brought back some good memories for you like it did for myself, My bestestestest friend passed away october 2016 aged 25, but that video I brought into school that day was his, he gave me it to take into school, this was just before we became inseparable!, I remember watching this after I lost him and sobbing like a baby lol, my fiance walked in so confused haha! I'd like to think he misses me like I do him right now, I like to think of it as he has just moved onto the next stage of his life, I'm just a little behind him and will likely meet up again 1 day, just not yet… Not yet (hahaha just accidently quoted Gladiator!)… Wow I'm messed up after long shifts!!!!

    Love ya'll!

seriously though… Stay safe and be happy, our experiences are all we truly have, so experience all you can, Good or bad, youl either make awesome memories or youl learn something valuable, or both!!

  9. I was drawn in from the very start. An artfully told story for all ages. Although it promotes overeating and that's a very dangerous thing to teach the young boys and girls in the world. What kind of example are we setting by advocating for such gluttony? However, aside from the atrocity of the message, I was very entertained and engaged the whole way through. As a 28 year old mother of 3 I have been exposed to the hunger that young children face, and I know that it is a rabbit-hole that can lead to dangerous things. Honestly I don't even know where to start. The FDA will definitely be involved if such behavior is continually promoted. Sincerely, Disappointed
