Here we have our set up again. Cones,
vertical, figure 8, outside stick length apart. Nets going to
be behind me. So, what you are going to do is you are going forwards here. You are coming through the middle of coming to the outside, back through the
middle and then you’re going to shoot with one or two steps with your feet movement.
So here what we are working on is now we’re attacking towards the net. You are getting one or two quick steps, so you have to handle that puck quick, get it to your forehand and then get a quick release. You are going to go back through
both ways. So, on one side here we are coming through and you are going to be on your forehand. You are going to push the puck to the outside and when you are coming through the other way here you will have to be skating forward. You have to pull it in and and then release. So, you are going both ways. Really working here on quickness, agility, quick speed and quick releases. So, we are coming through, up and pull through, coming through. Now we’re getting a release quick. Very quick release. The other way they are going, you are going to come up to the top here, come back down to the middle and then you are going to be pulling in and then get your quick release that way. So you’re going through both ways, coming through, attacking the net, one or two hard strides and quick release. Don’t worry about getting
the shot. Your feet perfectly setup for a good
shot, just get the shot off quick pick a target and hit it.
