It’s where we take readers, give them Golfbidder gear.
You can test out drivers, fairways, irons. The best of everything for sale on Golfbidder.
So now we have Mick with us. Mick’s a plus 1 handicapper.
We’re looking at the Callaway FT-5 driver. The FT-5 came out in 2007 but since McDowell
won his US Open with an FT-3 there’s been an awful lot of interest in the FT-3s and
FT-5s. Mick this driver is 4 years old but you’ve
been hitting it. Have a little hit there and we’ll get your
thoughts on the club. Absolutely nothing wrong with that.
Mick this is a 4 year old club. You know if it came out in 2011 would it still
hold it’s own? I think it would hold its own very well going
into the current market. Easy to hit driver.
Small draw off it. It’s for the mid to low handicappers rather
than the high handicappers. It’s got a lovely low flight on it.
This is a 10 degree driver here we had you hitting.
But you still hit a low flight? Yeah, a nice low flight and very forgiving.
Ok. Fantastic. Well Mick and someone else had this exact
driver in their bag. It came out just before the flight control
technology so be careful when you’re buying them.
There’s a draw, neutral and open Opti-Fit setting.
So you just need to be careful to see that before you buy them.
This one is a draw driver. You were hitting it with quite a nice draw.
So those are the FT-5. you can get the FT-3 and the FT-5 for in and
around £100 on Golfbidder.
